Philippe D. Monnier grew up in Japan, Mexico and Switzerland. His studies include Civil Engineering (ITESM/Mexico), MBA (Wharton) and Intellectual Property Strategy (Harvard). He is currently engaged for several organizations as board member, management consultant, university lecturer, book author and business journalist. His language abilities encompass six European languages and Japanese. Previous positions include Executive Director at Greater Geneva Berne area, Senior Vice President at Schindler Management Ltd., Co-founder of three e-business start-ups in Switzerland and Japan, Managing Director at Schindler Lifts (Singapore) Pte Ltd., Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co.

Mr. David Tropp

Mr. David Tropp

David received his AB degree in mathematics from Harvard College in 1984, and his MBA and MA degrees from the Wharton School's Lauder Institute program in 1990, with a concentration in East Asia / Chinese language.  David joined Citibank in 1990 and subsequently joined UBS in 2005.  David's banking career spanned New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo, including 14 years based in Japan and Hong Kong.  David's primary focus in banking was corporate finance and M&A, and he spent three years early in his career in planning and audit functions.  David also worked for four years at two technology companies in the Boston area prior to his banking career.
